    Azwannabe, hcg might work for you. I don't think it works for everyone. It's not a one size fits all kind of diet. If your metabolic type is protein then hcg is not for you because it's mainly carbs that you're eating. The only protein you get is 3.5 ounces for lunch and 3.5 ounces for dinner. I'm a protein type and it was not enough

    I lost 55 pounds total with hcg and that was in 2007-2008 and have gained back 20 pounds so I'm not one of the success stories with hcg. I'm thankful that I've still kept off 30 pounds but that is a daily struggle also.

    I have done hcg five times. It works to take off the weight, but it doesn't fix my problem of overeating once I'm done with the hcg. It doesn't fix my cravings. So it works but then it doesn't work. Sorry for the ify response, but it's my most honest opinion on hcg.
