I just took the test and found out that I am a mixed type.  I have been having lots of digestive problems gas, bloating, intestinal cramps and intense diarrhea for a while.  I am also very moody and have low energy. (hormonal imbalance?)  I am not on any medications.  My doctor has just done a complete set of lab tests and the results are not back yet. She thinks it could be celiac disease.  A year ago she said I had low seratonin levels and IBS and chronic fatigue so I tried an antidepressant.  I had to go off all medications when the doctor did an ultasound of my gallbladder and found out I had two large hemangiomas onmy liver.  I had one hemangioma (4lbs)  removed with my gall bladder a year ago.  Should I start with a total cleanse or a probiotic or chlorella or gluten free diet?   I just don't know what to try first or all at once?  Thank you, Lisa

Hi Lisa, I sure know what you mean by "where do I start?" I had the exact same feeling several years ago after a stroke, heart attack and heart surgery and all the meds I was on weren't helping me feel any better... I'm not a doctor and not telling you what to do, but what I've found is the most logical place is to start is with a gentle cleanse to detoxify some of the crud that your body can't handle (your body is constantly detoxifying itself as a key function, and then start putting good nutrition in it. A good thing to also start with is drinking enough filtered water - our bodies use an average of 8 - 12 cups per day in performing bodily functions, such as breathing, perspiration, and many other things. Cheers, BB

Hello Lisa,

I would recommend that you start the gluten free plan immediately and also add a probiotic twice per day prior to meals.  Once you reach a comfort level being gluten free then start working in the mixed type meal plan.
