Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

I'm doing this project for a college class, our teacher told us we have to write about something where we want to change a real life law or regulation. Now, I'm not really an animal activist, but I think its discussing how the "FDA approve" meat industry raises live stock. Unfortunately my teacher said that the meat industry to too broad of a topic, and I had to narrow it to chickens, and how chicken raising effects human health. So I can only write about how this chicken industry effects humans, and I need to back up my argument with CREDIBLE sources.

I heard a few things about how the anti-biotics lead to super strains of bacteria. I have heard how the animals can grow parasites in their intestine from breathing in fecal matter fumes all day. I have also heard that the hormones have negative health effects. I’ve also heard that the chicken farms pollute entire rivers by dumping the chicken waste into rivers.

What I need is a “Credible” source that states this in either a text book or website. However, I don’t know what organizations are “credible”.

Please post on any credible sources that I can use and cite and give credit too ect. that talk about how the Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 industrial chicken raising business effects human health.

Here are a few nice videos of the situation.
