Aloha Dr. Mercola, I was wondering why you never mention vitamin E at all in regards to taking Krill Oil? Because of the mass amounts of omega-3 isn't there concern about "lipid peroxidation" as there is with taking fish oil and cod liver oil? If so, and being that krill oil is one of your most popular products, this is a big oversight! Thank you for all your great work! Aloha

The reason why vitamin E prevents oxidation is because it is an antioxidant. If you read the material on krill you will see it is loaded with other naturally occurring antioxidants which serve the same function.

Krill Oil sounds more natural and easier for the body to metabolize, sound like I need to order a couple of bottles.
Thank you for the comparison between Vitamin E and Krill Oil.

Not to mention the fact that fish oil or krill oil needs to be kept refrigerated to avoid rancidity. Nearly every fish oil product on the market isn't kept refrigerated, so how do you know it isn't already rancid when you buy it? It's one of the many things I like about Mercola's Krill Oil! Last time I purchased it, it came packed in dry ice to keep it cold.
