Are Keyless entry keys ( I have one with my Toyota Prius) deleterious to the body when carried in ones pocket next to the body? They contain a computer chip, and I am curious about this, I have my Prius 2 years now, and I've carried the key in my slacks pocket every day since I got the car. Is there any danger in this? Thank you Dr. Mercola. I love your newsletter.

Excellent question!
I believe they can be very harmful. I know this because I was being tested with a sensitive electrodermal energy screening about 15 years ago and happened to have one of these types of keys in my pocket. My readings looked like I was dying and then we finally figured out that it was because I had the key in my pocket. As soon as I got it off my body my readings normalized.
So I have had these types of keys for a long time BUT I don't at all carry them on my body. I carry my key on my piece of luggage that I carry my books in. I rarely but the key in my pocket.

I am surprised by these comments about Key cards. I always wear one on a cord around my neck M-F for my job. I began about 1 month ago having terrible pain right in the middle of my stomach. It just so happens that it is the exact spot where the card covers. I don't know if it is related but I sure am going to come up with some new way of carrying my card and see if I don't feel better. It never occoured to me that the card could be unhealthy. THANK YOU FOR ALL THE INFORMATION ON YOUR WEB SITE DR MERCOLA.

Our High Rise just went to keyless entry, I made a little case for mine with paper, wrapped aluminum foil around it, then covered it with black plastic tape...It will not open the door unless partially removed from it's case!!! Might try that! It also prevents you from being tracked !!
