I am opposed to any multilevel marketing program as I, like many other experts, do not agree with this type of marketing as it unnecessarily increases the price of the product.

Thoughts on Herbalife-- from my standpoint it only seems like an extensive series of supplements. A far cry from natural, raw, fresh food. It does have some focus on the general nutrition problem, however when considering the price and confusion I would rather have the natural home prepared food.

That's like saying "I am opposed to any company that advertises it's products on TV because advertising unnecessarily increases the price of the product."
At least with multilevel marketing or network marketing the advertising dollars are going to the people who are beating the pavement instead of big TV companies or advertising agencies. Saying a certain business model increases the price of a product is simply a matter of opinion. Consumers don't have to purchase anything if it is too expensive.

Herbalife is a well-designed scam. One has one shake in the morning, meaning he/she does not skip breakfast - the thing many overweight people do; and another one in the evening, when yet again most people in need of weight loss over-indulge in food without any activity to burn it off.
I had lost some 30kg (over 60 pounds, I am not that good in calculating metric2imperial) in 9 months using quite similar principles outlaid here by dr Mercola. I did got some offers from Herbalife MLM people to speed up my progress, but I believe that it would just kill it.
Cheers, dear doctor, I had finally found the source to confirm my mostly intuitive approach!
