Recently I've been feeling very strange and I have a feeling that what I am experiencing is a cleansing reaction, but I want to be sure.
I started taking the Probiotics Plus about a week ago and I also started drinking about a cup of home-made raw milk Kefir a day.
My digestion has been very irregular. Sometimes I'll have constipation, sometimes diarrhea. Sometimes my stools will come out in many small pieces.
My energy has been erratic. At certain times in the day, I will be so tired that it is difficult for me to do anything, but sit in bed. At other times, I will have so much energy I feel like I have to do some intense exercise just to work it off.
I have cravings for very strange foods. I ate nearly 20 oranges (mainly just the juice and very little pulp) last night because that was all I wanted. It seems that several hours later, the oranges cleaned me out very well.
I feel like my oxidation rate has slowed (I was originally typed as a fast oxidizing protein type). I have very little interest in fatty meats. I could probably be classified as a mixed type right now or even a carb type. I have cravings for lasagna so I've been eating that almost exclusively along with the oranges.
My plan at this point is to continue taking the Probiotics Plus and the Kefir and following my cravings to help my body get through this cleansing. Is this the right course of action? If you have any tips or insights on what is going on with my body at this point, they would be much appreciated.

It definitely sounds as if constipation is a main concern. As you are going through your healing crisis I would suggest paying attention to your bodies desires but I would focus on good whole foods of which I would include lasagna in that catagory. Drink adaquete water, do not overconsume foods, get you knees above the stomach area when having a bowel movement (a small stool for your feet will help), and emtionally address any challenges with "letting go". This should all help you bowel movements.
I would also recommend that you reassess your metabolic typing at this point as you may have shifted.

Hey Glen, I'm doing much better now. Constipation is gone and my bowel movements are more normal. My cravings for fatty meats have also returned and lasagna and oranges are no longer as appealing.
My tongue right now is very white, which has always been my best indicator that I am out of metabolic balance.
However, I have noticed that unmarinated/unsauced meat no longer appeals to me. I feel like I need some sort of sauce on my meat, perhaps in order to predigest it.
Update: I just tried some ground grass fed beef (cooked) with some unheated honey (like Aajonus recommends) and found it delicious. Shortly after the meal, my tongue whiteness also decreased.
Anyway, I seem to be getting through this healing period. My skin seems to look much better than it did before, which is interesting. Thanks for your comments Glen. If you have any other thoughts, let me know :).
Sometimes the desire for sauce or marinate is simply a desire for something different from the taste factor. The marinate, sauce or even adding some fat to the meat will generally take care of this. Sometimes some cheese or avocado will suffice.

I would recommend the probiotic plus...probably two before every meal at this time. The shipping with Mercola.com would be you best bet as they do ship the product with ice. There may be a very slight degradation but you will not lose much value. I personally am not a fan of the primal defense and have personally used the probiotic plus with good results.
The number one reason is that I would always prefer a capsule before a caplet and we used to use this at the clinic and we were no longer getting the positive results with the patients. Results are what is the most important.
