I have used PH strips several times now and each one indicates a ph level of 9.0 or 9.5. Is such a PH level acceptable? I mostly eat foods from the high alkaline group every day. I drink Eaters Digest Tea several time each day. I have yeast free sour dough toasted bread with grapefruit juice every morning. I am on a very good multiple supplement (Master Formula) and take extra calcium, Omegas, C, B Complex. For many years I have fought sinus problems, toenail fungus, osteophytes, and arthritis. I followed the Phase I (Dave Kaufman) and then moved into Phase II. My health did improve. I do not eat microwave food, nor typical junk food. No sodas nor coffee.
I had not checked my PH level for a couple of years when it was 7.0. This is a new roll of PH strips. I cannot seem to find much information about high alkalinity.
Hello Pat,
You definitely do not want to be too alkaline or acidic as both are significant challenges. I really never recommend chasing PH though as it changes so often normally through the day as well as the simple fact that for different Nutritional Types it is very real that different foods create acidic or alkaline states.
To note that the sour dough bread may be a challenge if you are one of the high percentage in our culture that is walking around with an undiagnosed low level gluten intolerance. Have you read the gluten article and did you implement this for 60 days?
