I've read on this site that our levels for vitamin D should be done by a specific lab. How is it possible to get a test from this lab? I had one test done at my regular physician's office. It was low, and I've been supplementing. Now that it's time to have it re-checked, this doc believes that to be unnecessary and won't order the test. How can I find a doc who will order a test from labcorp - or is it possible to order one myself online?
Thanks.
I went to an endocrinologist who listened to me for an hour, and ran this blood test along with many others. I had been quite ill for 15 years and he was what you might call a last ditch effort to feel better. My husband had to drive me to the appointment, I was going to cancel because I had been to so many doctors and everyone of them said the test results were fine and nothing was wrong. DON'T give up. Get SOMEONE to listen. I almost gave up and didn't go to ONE MORE appointment and could have missed the MIRACLE of my life.
Good luck to you....keep trying !!!!!
