Hi
I have quite a few health issues, I think that it all stems from having Crohn's disease.
I've recently started on the Protein Type diet. I'm finding the higher then usual fat content a bit difficult. I take digestive enzymes, is there anything you could recommend to help my digestion? The last 8 months my stomach problems have increased. I get cramps after most meals.
I'm finding it hard to try and stick to just having (3) meals a day. Previously I've just grazed all day or I'll have 5 meals. If I don't eat every 2, maximum 3 hours I get a wave of sickness/weakness come over me and have to find the closest and easiest thing I can eat. It has only been a few days on the protein type diet, hoepfully my body will adjust with time
Thanks for your advice
Sharna
I don't think that being on the Protein type diet means that you need to go against what your body wants and needs right now. It sounds like your blood sugars are fluctuating, and as such you probably really NEED to eat more often until that gets regulated. If it feels better to eat more frequently, then you probably should.
Just checking to make sure that you have cut out ALL Gluten, Dairy, Soy and corn- the biggest allergens. Try using coconut oil for the fat. It's light and tasty and very healing. I like to use coconut milk to make smoothies.
