Last summer someone introduced me to garbanzo beans and refried beans. I ate them often while factoring out much of the refined carbs, save for an occasional ice cream or slice of cake. To my amazement the pounds melted off. I did much walking, but no vigorous exercise. Now I eat bean products only now and then, but I have always wondered what in the beans helped to melt the pounds. Any ideas? Perhaps others have experience with this unusual diet addition?
I'm wondering what you were eating that the beans replaced.
