Help On Menopause

Hi,

Finally a forum on women's health.

My wife is currently undergoing menopause and I was wondering if any of you ladies here can share your experiences on the subject matter and how your husbands handled it. I know the basics but I can't relate to what she actually feels. Sometimes she gets mad at little things for no reason at all. Is this part of that? She wasn't like this when we first met and since we have been together . I just want to hear women's thoughts on this so that I can be there for her physically as well as emotionally.

Any ideas and thoughts would be great and appreciated.

Chronic Abnormal menstruation

G'day from Oz. My 40 yr old daughter has been almost perpetually menstruating for app 12 months. She has an IUD which I wonder may be adding to the trobles? She has a healthy active lifestyle, but an hysterectomy has been advised. To delay/prevent this she is booked for surgery to laser her womb lining off. Is there no better alternative...eg one that isolates WHY & treats THAT abnormality. Advice appreciated. Thank you.

I suffer with hot flashes and night sweats..I have read Dr Lee's book on natural progesterone cream and have started using it..I'm going on my 12th day and have noticed that my hot flashes are almost gone and I can sleep through the night without any problem. I am worried about possible weight gain after reading some stories on the natural cream..so far it seems to be everything I could ask for...

If there's anyone out there that has used the cream..please respond..

Menopause - painful intercourse

I'm in menopause and intercourse is impossible due to the extreme pain. My obgyn has prescribed Vagifem, but it has a cancer warning on the package!! I don't feel safe using it!

Looking for bioidentical hormone patches

For many years I have used a hormone patch called Vivelle. The patch was recommended to me over a pill because I have migraines. I recently tried to switch to a bioidentical hormone pill and immediately began having migraines and feeling very sick. I am curious if there are bioidentical hormone patches?!!
