I tested as a mixed type. The recipe plans provided all look very tasty, but for 3 or 4 days in a row, I work for 12 hours a day with just a half an hour lunch. I was looking at raw eggs as providing an integral part of my diet for these days where I have very little time to prepare food for my meals.

What are some good, simple meal suggestions for a mixed type that revolve around raw eggs as the primary protein?

reading the book Take Control of your Health is that mixed types need
TWO TYPES OF PROTEIN at each meal, one being high and another low
purine, along with 2 types of corresponding vegetables. Is this correct?

I've
just bought the total Health Cookbook / ebook for the recipes because I find it difficult to
incorporate 2 types of protein at each meal without getting very bored
after a couple weeks. In the main dish recipes there aren't 2 types of
proteins. Just a good balance of one protein and veggies. Combining
the main dishes with salads and veggies still does not give that second
protein. Could someone please clarify this for me?

When I
was last on the mixed type diet I ate basically small portions of
salmon and chicken breast or egg for dinner, of course with the
appropriate vegetables and fats. This diet worked wonders for me- I
mean the results were radical and amazing, but I got so bored and frustrated of preparing two types of protein per meal that I dropped it. At present I am trying to
develop a menu plan that my fussy MT boyfriend also won't get bored with.
Any help at all is appreciated- I feel like I've gotten something wrong. Thanks!

Raw Milk

Hi,

I have taken the NT test and have found out that I am a Mixed Type. I am a little unsure how to use the charts. Help in answering these couple of questions will help me decide if I am reading and interperating the information correctly. One of my favourtie meals is Tha Chicken Curry. For this i usually use thigh meat with Broccolli cauliflower carrott eggplant and beans with coconut cream. I am thinking that i need to change the meat to chicken breast to use the cauliflower beans. Or can leave it as the thigh meat and just use Broccoli Egg plant. Is there a way to combine all ingredients?? We often crumb our fish and have it with a salad according to the list fish and salad does'nt work, we are using rice crumbs and cooking in coconut oil. When is says that you can use secondary foods after consuming primary foods what is the waiting time??. The fish that i buy here in Aus is usually Snapper, but we also consume red emporor baby snapper pink snapper, do all of these fit into the same category? Most of the salad varieties that I consume are low or very low glycemic what fish can i use to balance this meal. And finally should i best be avoiding all foods in the secondary chart. One more what can I substitute bread with. Cheers Becca from DownUnder.

Breakfast: a lettuce wrap (or two) using a big-leaf lettuce, with ham and either some mustard or avacado (if they're on sale that week! :)

Lunch: Salad with mixed greens, broccoli, cauliflower, feta (or other cheese), some sort of meat (chicken, ham, turkey) and simple dressing of olive oil, garlic, vinegar, salt and pepper. Sometimes a piece of fruit if I get a craving or a handful of nuts

So far, these have been working for satisfying me. My worst cravings are for sugary snacks (after reading up on mercola.com I think I just need to get it out of my system), and I mean sugary: candy, chocolate, jellybeans, etc.

Any suggestions on how to improve my "quick" recipes?

Thanks for your help!

I just took the test yesterday and turned out to be a mixed type, so I eagerly took a look at the 5 day meal plan, but now I don´t know what to do. I live in Denmark and I don´t know where to find raw organic milk. I´ve found one place in the country, where you can get it, but thats 400 kilometres away!!! It seems I need to use dairy for more or less all the meals in the recipe plan, so now I don´t know what to make for myself in order to get started. How do I make sure that 25% of my meal is fat? It sounds like a lot to me...

Hope to hear from you soon,

raw dessicated coconut 1 and 1/4cup (not sweetened)

almonds 1/2 cup chopped (soaked first)

2 TBLSP. coconut oil melted

5 eggs (room temp)

1/2 cup chia geletin (room temp)

1/8 tsp. vanilla

1/4 tsp. stevia

Just a bit of himalayan salt

I cooked it on 200 until it got light brown.

I don't know if it makes a difference but I baked it in a 9x13 glass cake pan first brushed with coconut oil.

These measurements are aprox. I don't measure much.. When I ate one I added a bit of olive oil on top. I have trouble with cravings, so added fat fights this well.

When I ate it I was craving. Then realized I hadn't added my fat to my juice, egg drink on my way to work. I noticed a HUGE difference in my thinking and my mood. Glen, do you see any where I could add nutrition to this?

I am Lise

Very new to all this, and in need of some inspiration for whatever to eat in the morning.

I know that it is to be variations over the base ingredients proteins and vegetables, so what I am seeking for is some inspiration, so that it will not be the same omelet -, salad thing going on every day. :-)

I have tried with an:

Omelet with two eggs - some chopped dandelion leefs - some broccoli - and some spring onions and two tablespoons of sour cream( in Denmark we call it Creame fraiche) I whipped it all together and saved some af the greens from the spingonions to dress the omelet, I also put in half a teaspoon of Sambal oelek to give it some fire.

With this I ate:

A salad with a lot of green leafs: a green and red leafed salad ( sorry I do not know the english name for that) some iceberg, some celery stalks, some cauliflower, some wild green leafs, (the monks brought to Denmark long ago, as a healing herb, but now it is spread out all over the country, and it tastes deligthfully spicy in salads and omelets, it is called goutweed. I did not have a dressing, and I did not miss it too much.

I want to notice that: Take care about how much you prepare, it will make your stomach full sooner than you know, I actually ate to much and had to pay for it several hours after my meal. So maybe it is a good idea to start with much less than the eyes and the stomach tells you. LOL.

personally I love goutweed very much, for example vhen making fresh cheese from youghurt, it tastes very good to put in wihth garlic, fresh grated and chives and parsley. Or you can just put it in the cottege cheese, and then some radishes and a little chive and cucumber.

Personally I am about to learn to use my salad leafes as bread instead of bread. It works better than I expected.

Hope you all are well on your way to get better, and that more mixed types will post
