Here is a recipe from Aajonus Vonderplanitz' new recipe book:

Parmesan Chicken
1 Serving

6 ounces raw chicken, diced (Aajonus only eats
raw; for those of us who prefer cooked, I am sure that is fine!)
4 Walnut halves
2 tablespoons stone-pressed olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons raw cream
1 tablespoon finely chopped oregano
1 slice minced garlic clove

Blenderize walnuts into flour in a 4-ounces jar on high speed for 5
seconds. Add all ingredients, except chicken, and blenderize on low
speed for 15 seconds. Spread over chicken. Eat immediately or marinate
for 45 minutes.

Hope you like it.
This is an extremely unappetizing way to eat and bores my palate. This completely limits all meals to very basic grilled protein and simple vegetables. Does this mean I can never mix ingredients into a delicious recipe again? The joy of food comes from the blends and contrasts of textures and tastes. How important is it to eat food in this order and will I get any results if I don't do it, but instead combine these foods into delicious recipes which are more edible? If it's not possible to get results by eating these foods out of order, or in other combinations, please et me know now.
Must have: blender that really crushes ice (I have an Oster Beehive...works great)

4 oz ice water

4 oz frozen fruit (blueberries, org. rasberries etc.) or try a fresh fruit of your choice (I've done fresh apple w/cinnamon and nutmeg)

2 packets of stevia (I like Sweetleaf stevia ...loaded with FOS)

Mix in blender until liquid is gone...becomes a very thick blob.

Pour into bowl, sprinkle 2 tsp organic psyllium powder over top and fold with a fork.

Enjoy!

Suzanne

Be sure to use only ORGANIC psyllium powder. This is hard to source so you may want to order off Dr. M's website.

High Purine: Yummy sardine salad for folks who don't like sardines

I buy BRISLINGS (which are sardines that come from the cold water around Norway and Scotland)...I think they are healthier and higher in omega3 etc.

Take 1 can of Brislings and drain the water

Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fish and break up (flake) with a fork...(the lemon eliminates the "fishy" taste; lemon is not recommended for our type so if you want you could squeeze some of the lemon juice out before doing the next step.)

Mix in up to 1 Tablespoon of South River Azuki Bean miso paste (check Dr. M's list of beans that are beneficial for your blood type and use that flavor miso)

I stuff celery sticks with this and top with fresh cilantro (cilantro is not recommended for our type... however it binds with mercury and escorts it out of our body and it tastes great! )

Another option is sometimes I chop up a little bit of green onion and mix in the sardine salad.

Easy recipe for folks who need more purines

The hardest part is to source ground heart meat. I get it from my butcher as he gets a 100% grass fed cow every Monday from a local ranch. I have him cut all the white stuff off and then grind the heart just like hamburger. Grass fed cows are small and so are their hearts, so a whole ground heart is usually about 2 lbs of ground meat (or less).

I started out mixing ground heart (25%) with ground chuck (75%), then upped it to 30/70, then 50/50 and eventually got to where I skip the ground chuck and eat 100% ground heart.

Taste: heart is benign tasting and the texture is stringier than chuck. So I like to super spice this up.

Recipe:

2 lbs of ground heart (or appropirate mix for you from the above)

1 package of Organic spicy taco seasoning (chili peppers are heavily sprayed..so I only eat organic chili and spices)

Sprinkle with additional very hot organic cayenne (to taste and optional)

Lots of Himilayan salt

SLOW cook in an enamel cast pot (like Dr. M sells at the store). I put this in the pot, add the spices, a little water, stir and cover. This "cooks" on the lowest heat on my stove for about a good hour or so. I set a timer for 20 minutes to go stir it up. When it's done, I store in a glass container and use about 4 ounces of my Mexican meat in my "salad" at lunch. This also makes a great breakfast. I put the fresh spinach in my steamer, add the 4 ounces of heart on the top, and steam lightly until the spinach wilts a tiny bit. Invert into a dish and push the spinach over to half of the plate so I can eat the heart first. I start with the meat and usually eat about 1/2 before I end up mixing it up with the spinach.

As the week goes on the meat gets less tasty so I sprinkle more cayenne or organic hot sauce on the meat after steaming it.

This also is my "fast" food. I only cook it once a week and I always have this high purine "food" to go...easy to scoop out. If I'm going out with friends I just take 4 ounces of Mexican heart and add it to my restaurant veggies or salad or whatever.

This is also amazingly cheap and very high in nutrition. The butcher charges me $1.99/lb for ground heart so for $4.00 I get about 7 or 8 meals!

Cheers,

Suzanne

PS: heart is loaded with COQ10 and I have no idea if my slow cooking on low heat is destroying the COQ10 or not. I assume it might but trying to preserve the COQ10 in heart is what caused me to start doing the slow cooking that Dr. M and Glen recommend.

(1) I was surprised to see only dark meat for poultry - is that true, or can you have white meat occasionally?

(2) By reading other posts under protein type, someone mentioned not using vinegar - somehow I missed that - Is that true, and is lemon juice ok in dressings, marinades, etc?

(3) In my daily emails from mercola.com, sometime while back he was talking about cooking meats (chicken, burgers, etc) in a 225-degree oven. Can you tell me where I can resurrect those instructions, or can you reiterate them? It seemed to me that the cooking times were not very long considering the lower temperature in the oven and I was concerned that I missread.

And it was porridge! No flesh protein at all. Hmmm.... It is confusing as I feel like I am subscribing to something here that Mercola has researched and is behind... and yet it seems like he is not actually on the same page.

I want to make clear that I have been completely convinced of this way of eating. I am not wishing to begin eating porridge again. (When I eat porridge and only porridge for breakfast I am not able to stop eating it!) I am in the beginning stages of this path... and I have not been 100% on it... there have been times when I have "cheated" and had some coconut macaroons, or some such thing. But it is confusing to read this from him. Who is this that has developed this diet? Is it you Glen? Are you connected to Dr. Mercola? And why aren't you writing the books? (I say this with a smile, but in truth what I am reading on this forum is very very different from what I am reading in Mercola's books or on the website.)

Help me understand these contradictions...

What have you tried that you really enjoy and how do you cook it? I remember having calves brains in a very exclusive French restaurant in Quebec years ago and they were quite delicious...and I'm sure they weren't organic. Are some organ meats dangerous to eat?

anyway i was going to write down all my questions and wait to post until i had a complete list. of course that's impossible, i'lll always have new questions, so i'll start with these two. until i find a quality source of liver , are the dessicated liver tablets any good? and, what green supplements are good for a protein type? i'm talking about barley, wheat grass, etc. i usually buy something like green magma, or kyo-green, or g of l perfect food, and mix it with flaxseed. good or no?

Smoothie Recipes for Protein Types?

Help! I just took the test and discovered I'm a protein type. During the week, I normally make a smoothie for breakfast, and drink it at work. I do not have time to whip up steak and eggs for breakfast, AND eat them in the morning! My smoothie has 1/4 cup ground flax seed, 1 T rice protein powder (dairy and I do not get along well) 2 egg yolks, 1 T coconut oil, 1 T almonds, 1 T walnuts, and 1 T pecans for protein sources. Also includes 1 cup frozen fruit, 1 oz pomegranite juice, 1 T gogi berries, 1 T green powder, and 1 cup water.
