I have a few questions as I find the details pretty indescript.

1. It says to eat an equal amount of protein and vegetable, but what is that based on? Weight, percent from calories, volume? I'm thinking it is weight based on other q's in this forum.

2. It says to eat 25% of the meal in fat. Does that include the fat from the entire meal? Or suggesting that 25% of the meal be from the fat category (oils, nuts, if nuts are considered part of the fat category)? And if it is 25% from the fat category, again is that based on weight or calories?

Because the meats from the protein category will already contain fat, so I don't know whether it means to add 25% of my meal from the fat category, regardless of how much fat I've already gotten from the protein, or what.

Maintaing your weight

Hi Glen!

A year ago in August I went organic. Went off my anit- depressent and anxiety medication. I do not take any over the counter medication either. When I stopped eating processed foods and drinking diet soda, my symptoms completely went away. Over the years I put on weight. Last August I weighed in at 175. I am 5' 10. I have never wieghed that much in my life! I was always around 140 to 145. So when I started to eat organic, the weight started to come off. I was truly thrilled and it wasn't hard to do. It was the beginning of the summer, I found out my NT. I am a MT. I started the plan and added Bio-Thin along with it, the wieght is still coming off and i am so pleased. Sunday morning, I weighed in at 148. My question to you is when i get down to my goal wieght....how do I maintain? Do I eat more protien and fat? What would be my ratio etc.?

Thank you for for reply

I'm still struggling with my macronutrient ratio and meal planning and have a few questions.

1. I've broken my meals down to 6 meals a day because I feel starved if I don't have something between traditional meal times. If my ratios should be approx. 40%pro, 30%fat, and 30% carbs, it's difficult getting the 30% of carbs with every meal because that means having 16oz. of green beans. Is it necessary to have that 30% carb ratio for my snacks as well as my meals?

2. I've been relying on green beans almost soley for my carbs due to expenses. Is it okay not to vary my carb option?

3. I still am suffering a lot of fatigue and wonder, when will I feel my health and energy level begin to change? I know that eveyone is different, but wondered when I should start to see signs that I'm doing better.

4. I've had to let go of strict calorie counting and reduction. Therefore, I have gained between 12-15lbs since starting eating for my type. When can I expect my body to get over this change and see a shift back?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

I am wondering what is a serving size?

I understand I should attempt to do a 1 to 1 ration protein to carb. Do I make sure they weigh the same or that they measure the same?
