I have a question.  I am a mixed type, and what I understood from reading the book Take Control of your Health is that mixed types need TWO TYPES OF PROTEIN at each meal, one being high and another low purine, along with 2 types of corresponding vegetables.   Is this correct?

I've just bought the total Health Cookbook / ebook  for the recipes because I find it difficult to incorporate 2 types of protein at each meal without getting very bored after a couple weeks.  In the main dish recipes there aren't 2 types of proteins.  Just a good balance of one protein and veggies. Combining the main dishes with salads and veggies still does not give that second protein.   Could someone please clarify this for me?

When I was last on the mixed type diet  I ate basically small portions of salmon and chicken breast or egg for dinner, of course with the appropriate vegetables and fats.  This diet worked wonders for me- I mean the results were radical and amazing,  but I got so bored and frustrated of preparing two types of protein per meal that I dropped it.  At present I am trying to develop a menu plan that my fussy MT boyfriend also won't get bored with.  Any help at all is appreciated- I feel like I've gotten something wrong.  Thanks!
