Hello, I'm new to the MT forum and way of eating. I am a Carbo Sympathetic Dominant. My plan includes a lot of dairy for my proteins. Unfortunately, I am allergic to dairy. What other options do I have for breakfast proteins besides eggs? I don't eat turkey, chicken or fish for breakfast normally.
Also, I love bananas... why can't I eat them? Lastly... I couldn't find where it gave me the proper amounts of carbs/protein and fats to eat. Did I miss it somewhere?
Thanks. Dana
Hello Dana,
Welcome to the forum...
As far as the dairy is concerned if you have a source of raw dairy I would experiment with this as I have seen many patients that have challenges with dairy but not raw. Besides for eggs you could have some steel cut whole oats as oats are the highest protein grain available.
The bananas push carb types out of balance so they are not recommended.
Generally 60% vegetables, 25% protein, and 15% fat is a good generally recommendation for a carb type. Maybe even a bit less fat depending on the individual.
