It would be EXTREMELY helpful if Mercola.com  provided more sample menu's along with recipes per metabolic type.  Since a distinct ratio is advised per metabolic type then if 3 or more sample menu plans were provided to give an example of how it's done, it would go a long way versus asking members to contribute when barely anyone does.

Hello,

I think you have a very good idea her and I will talk to Dr. Mercola about making this a part of the experience.  Have you gone to the posts on recipes from the other members?

Hello!

I just took the test yesterday and I have been floundering through trying to figure out how to create a menu plan and how to figure out the correct percentages.  I would love to have a practical example, especially for those of us who are trying hard to loose weight and be healthy.

Does Dr Pericone's 28 Day Face Lift diet compare with the Protien Diet?  That is all I can find that is anywhere near comparable.

Thanks!

Cindy

Hi Glen, actually I did go to the Recipe section of the forum for mixed type first but found no recipes other than your original email asking fellow members to contribute. Alas, no one has :-(

Yes...you are correct.  All of the recipes are under the protein type heading.  Until I get some ideas together feel free to take a look at the protein type recipes since all you would have to do with may of them is have the appropriate vegetables to make this a mixed type meal.

Hello Cindy,

As a protein type there are several recipes on the site for you.  I would not put the main focus on your ratios of macronutrients but even more of a focus on eating as the part 1, 2, and 3 when necessary.  Experiment with different protein amounts but as a rule of thumb start with a bit more protein than vegetable nutrition while always adding a generous amount of fat.

I am also a protein type and as an example for breakfast today  I had 5 pieces of herring and on stalk of celery with a spoonful of coconut oil.  My lunch today is one lambchop, a few florets of cauliflower with raw cheese.

Hopefully this gets you going in the right direction with your foods and the ratios.
