Hi Glen, again,
as far as staying up all night and sleeping soundly through the morning into early afternoon, 2 weeks ago I've also given up ground coffee for breakfast, increasing the sense of fatigue and mental spaciness for 4 days, but still could not revert sleep cycles. As a last resort I started to take melatonin for the last 3 nights, last night fell asleep at 1.00 a.m, eventually. I do not work shifts as you ask, I cannot even work at the moment, I feel overwhelmed with my husband's OCD and moodiness, expecting attention and perfection around the flat all the time. I guess I can only relax after he's gone to bed; and that's why I feel more mentally focused to search for help and information at night, over the internet (since 2 months ago we have a fixed line). My husband had his thyroid burned with radioactive iodium, he takes thyroxin, can no longer work shifts as he finds it hard to start early morning, he goes to work part time later afternoon to 9.30 p.m. He's very ritualistic with cleaning before sitting to eat, so often it's 11 p.m. when he eats. That's how I got into staying up late. Also, we live on a first floor, at the shadow of another building in front and prominent balconies, I hardly ever see sunlight these days, I was wondering if this might add to the problem.
I'm struggling a lot with getting the right ratio and food quality. I've been reading other patients' postings, to get some idea.
That's about it for now,
thank you,
ara
Hello,
The lack of sun exposure would definitely play a role in your sleep challenges. Try to get some daily sun exposure through those eyes of yours. I am glad to here that you have been sleeping sooner but there is still some work to do. I would recommend seeing if you could find an EFT therapist in your area.
As far as you ratios are concerned at least make sure that you are eating your foods in the proper direction and eating quality foods...you can work from there.
