Hi all

I am Lise

Very new to all this, and in need of some inspiration for whatever to eat in the morning.

I know that it is to be variations over the base ingredients proteins and vegetables, so what I am seeking for is some inspiration, so that it will not be the same omelet -, salad thing going on every day. :-)

I have tried with an:

Omelet with two eggs - some chopped dandelion leefs - some broccoli - and some spring onions and two tablespoons of sour cream( in Denmark we call it Creame fraiche) I whipped it all together and saved some af the greens from the spingonions to dress the omelet, I also put in half a teaspoon of Sambal oelek to give it some fire.

With this I ate:

A salad with a lot of green leafs: a green and red leafed salad ( sorry I do not know the english name for that) some iceberg, some celery stalks, some cauliflower, some wild green leafs, (the monks brought  to Denmark long ago, as a healing herb, but now it is spread out all over the country, and it tastes deligthfully spicy in salads and omelets, it is called goutweed. I did not have a dressing, and I did not miss it too much.

I want to notice that: Take care about how much you prepare, it will make your stomach full sooner than you know, I actually ate to much and had to pay for it several hours after my meal. So maybe it is a good idea to start with much less than the eyes and the stomach tells you. LOL.

personally I love goutweed very much, for example vhen making fresh cheese from youghurt, it tastes very good to put in wihth garlic, fresh grated and chives and parsley. Or you can just put it in the cottege cheese, and then some radishes and a little chive and cucumber.

Personally I am about to learn to use my salad leafes as bread instead of bread. It works better than I expected.

Hope you all are well on your way to get better, and that more mixed types will post

Hi Lise,

I was wondering if you have the availability of raw dairy products in your area?

I also wanted to make a note to you in regard to fat.  Please try to make sure that you are getting the approximate recommended 25% of your macornutrients from fat.  This is an area that many mixed types do not reach at their beginning stages and also make sure to start at about a 1:1 ratio of proteins and vegetables.  Most new mixed types also overconsume the vegetable nutrtition.
