Hello,
I've heard that it is better to have meals without any liquids, wait about 2.5-3 hours for the food to be digested completely, and then drink water to clense and hydrate your body. I have tryied it for the past few weeks and at first I was thirsty right after I finished with my meal (I always had a drink when I ate before) and I got used to it quickly, but I can't determine if I feel better in long term because I'm changing my diet according to my NT right now.
I'd love to hear your opinion on this.
Thanks in advance,George
Hello George,
I generally recommend drinking about 4 - 6 ounces of room temperature or warm water with your meal. Most of us are consuming mainly cooked meals which is void of hydration. I would still recommend that you get most of your water intake away from your meals but one hour after your meal should be sufficient.
