I've heard horror stories of skin getting badly burned after laser treatments. And yet, a lot of beautiful celebrities are endorsing method, so it must work some of the time. I'd like to ask anyone here if they've tried it or have any thougts on it. Since this is a public forum, there's less chance of me getting marketing-driven answers which I usually see on commercial sites or even magazines that are just trying to sell their sponsor's services.
Hi there, I have undergone a number of treatments on the hair under my arms and have not experienced any burning or problems. The description I was given for the pain level when undergoing the treatment is that it's like being flicked with a rubber band. It's over very quicky and is quite bearable. I didn't eperience any problems or pain afterwards. I would recommend going to a reputable beautician - mine actually give me a "patch test" after going through quite a detailed questionaire and then I waited a number of days to check there would be no reaction before having my first treatment. I have been thrilled with my results. I just hope there are no long term side effects from this treatment - I would love to know if anyone has any comments/opinions!
Burned skin I believe is a result of waxing. I've experienced this before when I was a regular consumer of waxing products. I also experienced ingrown hair when I was into plucking. Since trying laser hair removal in Langley, I had smoother legs and underarms.
