Do you know of the supplement Mag 07, and if you do would you recommend it. Also, what brand of digestive enzymes do you recommend for mixed types? I think I have HCL deficiency, is the best way to increase HCL greens, apple cider vinegar or what?
Hello,
I do not have a direct knowledge of this particular product but looking at it I would say it may be worth a try. It does make some claims that may be a bit far fetched but many of these type of products promote themselves a bit further than I would feel they are beneficial. I do not recommend a specific brand for mixed types but would feel comfortable with most blends for a mixed type. Overall digestive enzymes tend to be pretty consistent. Many times just shifting into the correct meal plan, reducing stress, and taking a quality probiotic (Complete Probiotic) and digestive enzymes will be enough to stimulate your own production of HCL. Apple cider vinegar can help but it is not recommended for protein types. You can also take HCL for a short period to aid in stimulation. You also may look at one of the common causes of stomach acid deficiency which is an H-pylori infection.
