I am following the Protein Type diet (without nuts, or cheeses) and my stools have become too hard. Any suggestions to loosen them up (I do not want to take a laxative)

I drink plenty of water and walk almost every day  plus I do take acacia powder, homemade raw yogurt, fermented vegtables, digestive enzymes, probiotics, brasco broth, and high vitamin butter everyday. Thanks

 Hello,

You could try a combination of fresh ground flax seed, crushed walnuts, and some chopped apple mixed with olive oil to a consistency of a paste and take a teaspoon of this at the end of the meal. It may also take your GI tract a short period of time to adjust to new nutritional choices.

The fresh ground flaxseeds works wonderful for me.  I take a couple tablespoons morning and night.
