Hey Glen,

In "Take Control of Your Health" Dr. Mercola suggests no more than 6 oz. of fresh vegetable juice at a time.  I've drunk more than that as a meal replacement with no ill effects.

 What are your thoughts?

 Thanks.

Hello,

Mixed types and Protein types typically do better with smaller serving sizes of veggie juice in order to promote better blood sugar stability.  If you are not experiencing any ill effects, a larger serving size such as 8-12 oz may be acceptable for you. Consider adding in 1-2 tbs of raw cream if it is available to you and an organic raw egg which will be ideal for your mixed type metabolism.

All the best in health & healing,

Darcy Langdon,

My husband has been a Type II diabetic for 20 years and was recently diagnosed with colon cancer.  We are just getting into juicing and we are wondering what the best fruits and vegetables are for him to juice?  We purchased an Omega 8005 juicer.

Thanks for your help,

Debbie
