Glen~
Looking at other entries I see you recommend egg and cream for a mixed type with their juice. I usually like to mix the juice with a whey protein shake that I make with raw milk and also like to add an egg. Since I am a mixed type, I usually mix celery, carrot, apple and orange and noticed that all except the celery are on the secondary chart. Zucchini, cucumber and Kale are other varieties I use. Tell me the best combination of juices. Sometimes I notice that after I drink the shake and juice mix my nose with start to run. Not sure if this is a reaction to the juice or the egg. Let me know what you think.

Hello Sandy,
If your are a mixed type, the addition of raw cream and egg to your juice is ideal for blood sugar stability. The cream also adds a hint of sweetness that really improves the taste of the juice. If you do not have access to the raw cream, raw milk would be acceptable.
I recommend that you only juice the vegetables that are on your primary mixed type plan. Juicing secondary fruits or veggies can cause the release of too much insulin from the pancreas. As a result, you will not have stabilized blood sugar levels. Your secondary foods should be consumed whole after your primary foods instead of being juiced.
Combining green and blue veggies from you primary mixed type food plan would be ideal.
Some examples:
You may need to reduce the amount of dairy in your juice if you notice an increase in congestion. If it continues, take a break from the dairy and continue with the added egg in your juice.
