I just wanted to say I haven't received anything either. I'm about day 8 into my tips. I'm not necessarily upset, I just wanted to let someone know. Thanks.

I agree with brief and vague. The results rely on my memory of food responses. I was very uncertain of most answers. I do not see how this can be very reliable. The only relatively assured way to approach this would be to do the daily diary for a while, with focused attention, and then take the test. Of course, at that point, you already have a pretty good idea of the answer. At this stage of the game, it seems a waste of $29.97 to me.
I am also not convinced that the 14 day delay in providing the assessment serves us, the user, any useful purpose. It does potentially reap financial benefits for Mercola.com.
A side note: I am assuming that creation of some of the Mercola web site presentations was farmed out to a non-english-speaking source. I noted a number of grammatic and spelling errors in your presentations. These do not lead to confidence in attention to detail.
The food charts (at Mercola.com/proteintype, Mercola.com/carbtype and Mercola.com/mixedtype) do look reasonably useful, though I had trouble printing out the carb one -- it took some printing manipulation. The Listen to Your Body daily diary sheets at those sites also provide something of a reasonable foundation for doing daily response assessments. These are the same basic questions that were asked in the test. The book "Take Control of Your Life", which covers these principles and is written by Dr. Mercola and staff, does have some potentially useful information (including the websites above).
So far I am sceptical and not overly impressed. I will reserve final judgment and try to remember to present it later.
Hello, I just finished the nutrition typing test and was looking through the meal suggestions and had a few questions. First, i saw that oats or oatmeal was incorporated into some of the meals. I don't eat oatmeal or oats because i consider them a grain. So i was basically wondering if oats have gluten.. and if they should be avoided or not? My next question has to do with the ambiguity with the test and what i am suppose to be doing. It seems that most people who have participated in this nutrition typing program were already gluten free. I am in the same boat. I don’t eat sugar or any gluten products and i haven’t for close to 6 months now. I also eat mostly raw meals. What should i be doing to figure out what nutrition type i am? my diet is not much different from the ones suggested. If you could point me in the right direction that would be great!
With Peace
Nate
Hello Nate,
Oats do contain gluten but very little of the gliadin molecule which is the challenging aspect so most except extreme Celiacs are OK with oats. I would recommend at this point to follow your daily tips which will be moving toward your meal plan and on day 15 you will receive the full meal plan and directions.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hello,
We appreciate your feedback and I can say that the whole process is designed to create a level of awareness to your nutrition reactions. There are built in assessments to your meal diaries that will further recommendations at that time so your suggestion is already a part to this program...you just have not gotten to that point yet.
Let me know if you have any questions as you progress through this.
thank you for getting back to me. so are oats ok to eat for otimal heath and in what amounts? also where are the daily tips. i am not recieving them!
thanks
nate
I feel the same way. I thought the answer choices were poor and mostly didn't apply to me and there were no "unsure" or "other" options to choose from. I'm also having difficulty going gluten free and am light-headed all of the time even though I'm eating lots of good proteins and raw greens. I worry that it may be unhealthy for me. I'm very disappointed in the program so far and feel like possibly I've been swindled out of $30, which is a lot of money in this day and economy. Especially for a family of 6 on one income.
I am working with IT to get this resolved for you. Please contact me again if you do not have an answer from customer service by Thursday.
Sorry for any inconvenience!
Eliminating gluten is in no way an unhealthy practice but what may be happening if you used to eat high amounts of flour products you may be going through carb withdrawals. I would recommend adding small amounts of non-gluten grains, potato, or brown rice at the end of the meal and slowly reducing these as time goes on. I am confident as you progress through the entire program you will be very pleased with the value.
Keep me posted with any comments or questions.
Small amounts and at the end of your meal. Adding a bit of fat such as butter or cream to this would also be a benefit.
To let you know...we are also looking into the technical challenge with the tips.
Hello Leah,
I just wanted to know if this has been received yet.
Glen-
I haven't received the video or link to the gluten free info. yet. Like I wrote earlier, it's not a huge deal. Whenever you guys can get things worked out is fine. I've been doing well staying gluten free so far, granted I'm only four days into it. I've also been eating more like a protein type, which has been great so far. It's the first time in a long while that I've felt satisfied for a long period of time and had no cravings. That's a huge improvement and is encouraging. Thanks.
