Six Years ago I suffered my first full blown panic attack. That was the scarriest night of my entire life. After a visit to my doctor and many test it was determined that I suffered from anxiety and panic disorder. With that diagnosis I was handed two prescriptions and got a back on the back. My doctor wished me luck and that was it. As I stood there with shock on my face and was terrifed to take the medication I vowed to myself that the anxiety started for a reason and I was determined to find a way to stop it. I wanted my old life back. For a few years I suffered from these terrible attacks almost daily & I was afraid of everything. I devoured every book I could find and set out on a healing journey.

Actually what worked really well was lots of journaling, learning to quiet my mind (lot hard than I thought it would be), gratitude, rationalizing the fear, exposure. Thanks for your kind comments. I am just so happy to finally be free! Best of luck to all of you on your journey.
