Have somehow remained reasonably competitive and injury free as an aging cyclist, some of which I attribute to certain nutrients. Rhodiola in particular, a substance I have been taking for five years to aid in recovery. When I cycle off any of the listed products, feel as though my endurance (and mood!) drop.
Any competitive athletes have other substances they would recommend? My resting HR is around 50 bpm, and my BP has dropped the past few years to 120/70 or so.
