I JUST RECEIVED MY NUTRITIONAL TYPING. AFTER ANSWERING ALL OF THE QUESTIONS AND PAYING FOR THE PROGRAM, I AM CONFUSED. THE INFORMATION SEEMS TO BE VERY GENERIC WITH LITTLE OR NO DETAILS. IT SAYS TO LISTEN TO YOUR BODY AS FAR AS MEALS ARE CONCERNED BUT THERE ARE NO BASELINE QUANTITIES TO START WITH OR RECOMMENDED AMOUNTS THAT THE BODY NEEDS TO BE HEALTHY, SUCH AS CALORIES, GRAMS OF PROTEINS, FATS, ETC. WHAT ABOUT THE RATIOS, AND THE RECOMMENDED AMOUNTS TO INCREASE OR DECREASE? I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH PORTION CONTROL AND NEED TO LOSE ALOT OF WEIGHT. IF I EAT THE ITEMS FROM THE LIST UNTIL I FILL FULL OR SATISFIED I WILL STILL BE OVEREATING. IS THIS TEST AND INFORMATION JUST A TEASER TO BUY THE SUPPLEMENTS AND BOOKS TO GET MORE INFORMATION FOR SUCCESS? PLEASE TELL ME WHERE THIS INFORMATION IS IN THE SITE. I AM EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED SO FAR. I HOPE THAT I HAVE JUST OVERLOOKED SOMETHING. I can assure you that Dr. Mercola or his site is not a gimmick or a way to make money off of you. The nutritional typing book is not even a Dr. Mercola book and its from an entirely different author, who is not related to Dr. Mercola (so he doesn't make money off of it).
Yes, from what I understand you just eat until you are full. If you are eating the right type of foods, your body will eventually even itself out and you wont have a need to overeat. Overeating is a result of bad food choices and eating the wrong types of foods. Your body make take a small period to adjust, but make sure to keep going back to the test and reevaluate how you are feeling after a meal as you progress through the weeks ahead.
Eating the right type of foods is important, you mentioned that you need to lose a lot of weight. Very often this is due to eating too many carbohydrates, such as sugars and even breads and grains. So, I am guessing that your plan would be relatively high in protein, like meats, and low in carbohydrates. But please, I didn't take your test so I don't know what your results have showed, and you may be the opposite. Listen to your body, means if you are starving you ate too much, but if you are craving foods, you didn't eat enough. Also, make sure you are eating the right type of foods based on your results from the test. I recommend to keep taking the test every few days since your body may change and adjust during this period.
